Spinach Salad

Ingredients

  • 3 bunches spinach, washed & freshed
  • 2 small cans mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese grated
  • 1 pound bacon, sliced, fried & drained
  • 2/3 cup sugared almonds
  • 1/2 large red onion sliced thin
  • 1 cup hard boiled egg, chopped

Dressing

  • 1 cup oil
  • 6 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 4 tablespoons Sugar

garlic salt and pepper

    Notes

    You might want to make the sugared almonds first. Slice the almonds and toss with 1/2 C sugar in a non stick pan over medium heat til coated. Spread on wax paper to cool.For the dressing, mix every thing in a jar, add a couple onion slices and refrigerate. When ready to dress the salad remove the onions, shake and pour.Mix it all up and go baby!
