  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry shell
  • 1 15 oz can sliced pears in light sauce
  • 1/2 pound brie in 1/2" cubes
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries

Thaw pastry at room temp 30 to 60 min. Preheat oven to 400. Roll pastry to 14" square and cut to 36 equal squares. Press pastry squares into mini muffin tims. Coarsely chop pears and place a few chunks in the bottom of each square. Cut away the skin of the brie and cut the cheese into small pieces and place over the pears. Top each with 3 or 4 dried cranberries, bake 12 to 15 min till puffed and lightly browned. Serve warm. This is an easy one to play with. You can substitute other fruit such as peaches, add chopped nuts, use raisins in place of cranberries, add spices, etc. Have fun. You can also use frozen pre-made filo cups to make it easier.
